Deekers for Thursday -Deekers was laying down on the sofa in the living room with her front paws neatly tucked under her. When she saw me, she jumped down and walked over to greet me. After she received some scratchies we walked together to the kitchen. I washed her food dish while she patiently waited on the counter by the food cabinet. I put the dish down beside her and opened a food pouch into her bowl. She had several licks for her taste test before I removed it to her mat. After she had eaten for a while, she joined me in the living room.we had a good play session with the cat dancer and she enjoyed lots of scratchies and brushing. She settled down beside me for some TV and more brushing with some treats.
Deekers for Friday - AM
When I arrived the workman was busy in the den. Deekers was on the sofa and quickly moved into the kitchen for her food. She was a little distracted with the noise and extra commotion, but seemed to handle it in stride. We spent most of our time on the sofa together. She got lots of brushing and had a good time with the cat dancer and the laser. She had a hard time settling down and would move around when I brushed her. She would look toward the den and also seemed to be more sensitive to street noises. but never appeared to be afraid. She was in her own environment and I think she even appreciated the presence of the workman while getting her personal attention from me.
Deekers for Friday -PM
Deekers spent a long time draped over my knee purring and chirping her appreciation for the brushing and scratchies she was getting. When she wasn't there she was laying on my chest pushing her little face across my chin and getting brushed. I think that she was happy for the quiet time. She made a couple of trips to the kitchen and ate well. She enjoyed her usual addition of a hand full of dried food. Deekers also had fun with the laser and my cat dancer but most of all she enjoyed being close.
