ISIS AND NAMI (AM AND PM VISITS) Entry for December 30, 2006
I think the girls sleep most of the time that I am gone because they are usually at the door in the morning, but not in the evening. Today I gave both Isis and Nami treats because Nami's bowl was not knocked over! YIPEE!! :) Maybe if I keep rewarding them when the bowl isn't knocked over she'll stop. Here's keeping our finger crossed! Isis and I had a great cuddle session on the futon today after she was done eating. She hopped right up there and curled up next to me. Then she rolled over on her belly begging for it to be rubbed. I gave her a little rub down, then Nami butted her way in. Nami climbed on my lab and licked my nose as if she was trying to say, "Pay attention to me! Pay attention to me!" I got up and got the rainbow wand and the girls and I played with that until it was time for me to leave. Hope the warm weather is treating you well! :)
No knocked bowls tonight! I made sure to shower Nami with praise by snuggling with her near the counter on the floor. I tried a new game that I've used on other kitties with Nami called "Catch the Kibble." I call Nami over to get her attention, throw the kibble, and she just watches it go. Then after some time passes she eats it. Isis didn't even pay us any attention, she was much too concerned in giving herself a bath. Tomorrow I will try it on Isis, maybe the reward for running after the kibble with give Isis some well deserved exercise. :) Since the game didn't have the affect on Nami that I was hoping for, we played with the glowing, glittery ball on the counter top. I can't wait to try "Catch the Kibble" some more tomorrow! Cheers!
